Members of the Squash Section are entitled to use the Squash facilities of the Club and also the bar, which is a shared facility for Squash, Cricket and Social members. Full Members, Student Members and Junior Members are able to use the facilities at any time, however, Junior Members should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Access to the courts and changing facilities is by coded key, which means members can play squash at any time 24/7.
Membership runs from 1st May to 30th April.
Club nights run every week on Wednesdays commencing at 7.45pm. Club nights take the format of a 'round robin' where members of various abilities get to play against each other. This is a good starting point for new members enabling them the opportunity to meet other members, judge their ability level and arrange games.
Junior Squash sessions for age 5 upwards are held on Sundays from 14.30 to 16.00, which is provided by fully qualified CRB checked coaches. For more information please contact either Elliot Browne or Chris Pottage.
Subsidised rates are available for Junior Members and young improvers. Anyone interested should contact the Membership Secretary or any Committee Member.
For those wishing to play competitive squash there is a Club Ladder from which teams are chosen to play in the North West Counties Squash League.
Squash members of the Club are automatically enrolled as members of England Squash which has many benefits including "The Squash Player" magazine. More details can be found by visiting the England Squash Membership section.
Further details can be obtained from the Membership Secretary or any Committee Member.
