Marple Cricket & Squash Club was formed in approximately 1900, and has been based at it's Bowden Lane headquarters since 1951. The club is a member of the Cheshire County Cricket League and currently plays in division one. The Club runs four senior teams, the First and Second teams playing on Saturdays, and the Third and Fourth teams on Sundays, in division three of the Cheshire County League.

We also have a thriving Junior section with teams at under 11's, under 13's, under 15's and under 17's. The under 11's winning their league in 2003. Even the youngest players (under 9's) are catered for with mini-cricket sessions on Monday nights.

The club also has an over 40's team, playing league games on Wednesday evenings.
