Whether you want to join as a Cricket member, Squash member or even a Social member, Marple Cricket & Squash Club is an ideal place to play sport and relax in a friendly environment.
Along with our Members Only bar with Sky TV, we also have a Function Room available for hire for any events from Birthdays to Christenings and can comfortably seat 150 guests, making it the largest Function Room in the area. If you would like to view the room before booking your event, please call the club on the telephone number at the bottom of the screen.

Bowden Lane is a great venue for watching Cricket and relaxing. The ground offers a quiet setting within the suburban / rural setting of Marple, with excellent views over the local countryside from the players balconies.
The club also boasts our newly decorated Function Room, available for hire. We can cater for any type of event from Birthday Partes and Wedding Receptions to formal seated dinners, and has a maximum capacity of 150. If you are interested in hiring the Function Room for your event, please contact the club on 0161 - 427 - 3006 for more information.
The Bowden Lane clubhouse also offers an excellent members bar serving a range of draught beers and soft drinks and now serves a variety of Real Ale on handpump. The bar has substantial area's of comfortable seating and also offers a Pool Table, Games Machine and Dart Board for the more traditional pub sports. Steward Derek McGlynn and the staff are always on hand to provide a friendly welcome.
The bar is open to members from 19.30 throughout the year. During the Cricket Season the bar also opens for home matches on both Saturdays and Sundays. We also have Sky TV including ESPN so you won't miss any Football or Cricket while you visit.
Along with the TV in the members bar, we also have a 5m HD screen in the Function Hall which is used regularly for Cricket and Football matches, depedant on whether the room has been hired out.
Members also organise events throughout the year and members are encouraged to attend these events. Events include Music nights, Race Nights and many more.

For that reason all our coaches are First Aid, Child Protection qualified and hold a recent and valid CRB check.
